September - October 2018 Happy Birthday, AmzerZo. We are honored to be the ones giving AmzerZo her 20th birthday present. The make-over continues. September 14, 2018 And so it begins. We ordered the solar panels and Metal Marine began designing what would become one of AmzerZo's defining features--her arch. The solar panels would sit not on top, but inside the top of the arch. Lots of supports and plates had to be incorporated. We lost the top door to one of our lockers, but luckily the locker also has a door accessed from the inside of the swim platform. September 30, 2018 The legs were installed and primed. As work on the arch progressed, Metal marine started designing what would become AmzerZo's third defining feature--her pare-brise. (Swim platform and arch being her other defining features.) October 4, 2018
Time to paint and weld.
The

The welding is looking good. Two major goals of the refit were to lead some of the controls to the cockpit and to close most of the holes on deck. Alas, the top of the arch was welded on. Da Admiral's steps were also lookin' good. October 17-19, 2018 We also made a few modifications to the mast and fixed the crack in the top of the track. A few days later, the new rigging was attached to the mast. October
